Salmonweird Library

Come in, come in!

I’m afraid since the living people moved out, new books are rather hard to acquire.

People “up country” just don’t like the disembodied corporeal beings all that much. But I guess you can’t really beat that old dusty book smell, hey?

The village library is small at the moment and it doesn’t really have a librarian so you’ll just have to rummage around to find what you’re looking for. We do have all the latest volumes from the local activities though. Karl is writing them as we speak. Do keep checking back; retired detectives tend to have a lot of time on their hands.

We definitely have plenty of copies of the first book, the one that started it all and explains DI Blackman’s first ghostly murder mystery. Here’s the blurb for Salmonweird if you’re at all interested.

The writer we commissioned to put our stories together writes other stuff too. We couldn’t expect him to stay in our little village, the experience would send him quite peculiar. We fear it already has.
